HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM THE FOUNDER!

Well I hope none of your relatives drove you out of your houses and you enjoyed all of the food you could eat and here`s the best part. "CHRISTMAS IS OVER"!!!

Now we can dine at the Picadilly and once again listen to some decent music instead of Gene Autry belting out "RUDOLPH THE RED NOSED RAINDEER" but I must admit that I`m going to miss King Elvis cronning "BLUE CHRISTMAS".

As you can tell I`m not much of a Christmas Fan and my favorite Movie which deals with religion`s the DVD of Monty Python`s "THE LIFE OF BRIAN"!

Anyway I hope all of you got what you wanted and I hope you don`t die of a Heart attack when Januarys Visa bill comes due!

But there were some sweet young Ladies from Mount Harmony Baptist Church who came out and sung me three songs which I thought was mighty nice including "JOY TO THE WORLD". I attempted to get some photographs of these sweet Kids but my Digital flash would not let me. Next year I`ll pull out the old trusty Poloroid.

I`ll also be posting the Photograph I took at a Piano Concert at Mount Harmony after the first of the year so be sure to keep an eye out on that.

TID BITS FROM MABLETON!

This weeks vintage shot was from a Floyd Middle School Annual in 1970 and features some young Ladies at the bottom including Marsha Brown on the far right as well as some old Dogs at the top!

Also as I told you last week, the weekly "MABLETON MUNCHING" has been moved from the Picadilly but what I did not tell you was I have moved it to Johnny`s Pizza on the East - West Connector in Smyrna Georgia. The only bad thing about moving it here is that Johnny`s is off the CCT bus line so you must drive to get there. Just turn right on the East - West Connector off Cooper Lake Road and drive 3\4 of a mile in the right lane and your at Johnny`s.

Johnny`s offers some of the best in Italian Cuisine such as Pizza, Spaghettie and if your on a diet Johnny`s serves some of the best club sandwhiches that you`ve ever eaten "I prefer the Turkey sandwhich myself".

I`ve been a Johnny`s customer for several years "especially the one on North Highland" and I have been a satisfied customer when it comes to Johnny`s menue.

So check the weekly calendar to find out when the next "MABLETON MUNCHING" will be.

Next week we will hold a special get together at the Hooters in Underground Atlanta to celebrate the new year. The meeting will be around six P.M. and remember MARTA will operate the trains all night long so that you can get home in one piece and remember if you plan on indulging next Tuesday, get someone else to drive or catch a cab!

Little Richard will be taking the Stage in Underground Atlanta around 11:00 P.M. so be sure to get there on time to see this rock legend!
